I know, I know, I haven't published a blog post since May! Just couldn't find something to blog about. After you've published to your blog for a few years, it gets harder and harder to find new and interesting ways to engage your audience.
Well, I think I've stumbled upon the next thing to try out! It's called "Flipsnack". Click the image above to be taken to a new interactive format to bring you up to speed with what's new in my world, and where you can find me leading up to the holidays. It will allow you to shop online, tell you about the shows I am doing until the end of 2023, and let you find out more about each show. In our first attempt at building a look book, there is also a teaser for the stained glass/fabric and glass bead star ornaments (one is featured above) available for purchase ONLY in person at my studio holiday show (December 15-23, 2023). These beauties are made by the talented Christine McGrath of Flax and Fire Studio. I have wanted to have them in my holiday show for years, and this year the "stars" (literally) aligned. I will have a beautiful assortment, but limited quantity available. They will retail for $28.00 each.
This "e-zine" was a labour of love that my youngest son, Liam, and I worked on together. Liam is an honours graduate of the Design Studio Program at his high school, so it gave him the opportunity to put his skills to work. It is always fun to involve your children and work on creative things together. Lots of learning on both sides. We would love to have your feedback as well.
